Sonarr and Radarr made TV and movies boring in the best way: ask once, it shows up. Manga never got that.
A French manga release looks like Berserk (01-41+) (Miura) (2004) [Digital-1920] (PRiNTER-PapriKa+). Packs overlap single volumes, special editions mix with the regular run, half the titles are chapters and not volumes. No *arr understands any of it, so I was reading release names by hand, volume by volume, on an iPad at 11pm.
So I built (with Claude Code as partner) Lire. You type a series name (typos fine), and it:
• finds the series under every name it has (AniList, Kitsu, MangaDex)
• searches your indexers through Prowlarr and parses every release title into a set of volumes
• picks the smallest set of torrents that covers every volume you're missing (official digital and CBZ first)
• sends them to qBittorrent and files each series into Kavita, covers included
• replaces torrents that stall with the next best release
• shows your library with "page 34 of volume 12" and opens the reader right there
It also handles comics and BD, lets you pick the language of the volumes per series, has accounts for friends, and the UI is French and English.
Self-hosted, Docker (amd64 and arm64), FastAPI and plain JS, no build step.

Honest limits: the parser is strongest on French releases, it's Kavita only for now, and it doesn't watch ongoing series for new volumes yet (that's the next big piece). Feedback welcome, especially release titles it gets wrong.
