Making the product better with users is fun

Recently I released an iOS app for loosing weight. I have few users using it and I approach them personally to receive feedback. There have been 4 feedbacks and I worked on them for last 2 weeks. I will hopefully ship out the features today. But it has been eye opening to me to see the product from my users lens. The 4 requests users made were 1. One user switched from my fitness pal to my app and he missed seeing calories he had for the day and how much he has consumed already. App was showing how much left but not how much consumed or how much was the target 2. Another user wanted measurement of the meals to be estimated via usual kitchen measurement units like table spoons, cups etc. this has been the hardest to implement as I had to figure out density of each item the app seeing via the image. Total brain teaser for me. 3. Few users wanted app to support German, so I adopted i18n This has been fun and long sleep deprived nights with Claude code as a buddy. I hope my users would love even more these features I built.
