I built M-Terminal, a financial intelligence and equity research platform, with Claude Code over roughly 2 months while working a regular Investment Banking job.
This is the current version of the product — the attached video is a walkthrough of the platform and the outputs it generates.
What does it actually do?
The idea was to build an end-to-end research workflow rather than another stock screener or dashboard.
M-Terminal takes company information and financial data and turns it into multiple layers of analysis:
• Company and financial intelligence
• Financial statement and historical analysis
• Financial diagnostics and consistency checks
• Earnings-call / management commentary analysis
• Guidance, Q&A, tone, red flags and monitorables
• Detailed financial modelling
• DCF valuation with multi-year forecasts
• WACC, FCFF, terminal value and valuation bridge
• Sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Structured equity-research outputs
How Claude Code was used
Claude Code was involved throughout the development rather than being used only to generate individual pieces of code.
I used Claude Code to build and iterate on the application architecture, financial modelling engine, DCF workflows, data/document processing, analytical modules, UI components, tables and charts. It also became part of my debugging and development loop — I could give it a feature or problem, have it inspect the existing codebase, implement the change, debug it and then iterate based on the actual output.
A lot of the development was essentially:
I also used Claude to help create the product film attached to this post.
Why I built it
I work in finance, so I wanted to experiment with whether Claude Code could be used to build a genuinely useful financial-analysis workflow, not just a polished frontend.
Most of this was built alongside my full-time job, during evenings and weekends, over roughly two months.
Free to try
M-Terminal is currently free to use:

No subscription is required to try the platform although there is a donation system integrated in case if you are interested.
Sharing this mainly as a showcase of what I was able to build with Claude Code. Interested in feedback from people working on similarly complex projects with Claude.
