Mr. Mas

Saw others creating these code generated animation demos for music videos and presentations but hadn't seen an attempt at a longer media piece so I thought I'd try. Used almost two week's worth of 20x usage (thanks to the reset), so this was essentially the max output that could've been created since the recent release under a single account. All was done with Opus 5.5 on ultracode. I also gave it access to elevenlabs api for voices and runway api for some very short semi-realistic diffusion clips. Unfortunately wasn't able to one shot, it took a few hours of iterations (interlaced through many hours of claude working autonomously) to build up the full script and visual flow. The initial drafts were able to lay out the majority of the work, but still several rough edges had to be further clarified where the script writing felt overly forced or out of sequence. There were also some audio/visual timing issues on first passes that had to be corrected. I tried making simplified visuals first to make initial iterations less expensive before doing the full pixel art renders. However all the final outputs were still done by claude - all the final lines, coded art animation, coded music, etc., I just provided guidance on the high level vision and corrections. Here was my initial prompt (I initially planned to just make the intro concept): i want to try creating an intro animation to a show i want to call mr mas. the idea of the show is that it should parody real world events of sam altman's rise in creating openai and fight against competitors, but can use made up more dramatic filler interactions and showcases for further entertainment while keeping the broad plat same as real life. however, all characters use funny rewrites of their name - sam altman as mas manalt, dario as mario, elon as nole, etc. for this intro, i want it to start with mr mas saying some relevant quote with something like computer in dark room dramatically, then go to a sequence that recaps earlier history with flashes of mr mas's childhood, becoming yc president, meeting alyi and mario and nole making openai, when each character shows up doing a stereotypical intro flashing their name, a sequence along such ideas. the idea for the show is that the first episode would go over roughly chatgpt to sam firing and rehiring, but throughout the show have flashbacks that fill earlier parts of the history around sam's life. the rest of show is about further building companies and growing power, you can imagine up to episode ~9 would correspond to where we are now, and some speculation for remaining episodes to 12 would be about final steps when rsi is achieved. we are not making the entire show, just the intro, but i wanted to give some context of the larger goal this is inside of so we can introduce the people appropriate. i want you to think further of an outline of the show plot, some semi detailed summaries what the shows episodes would entail, then further detail on a script of what the opening sequence (30sec) would look like, what type of music you're considering, and what kind of animation styles are feasible for you. i will further refine from these starting points and we can iterate a bit on style and opening sequence frame outline structure next until i am ready to let you have a full crack at it. we want this to look high quality and entertaining with good pacing, not amateur. should be funny and engaging for people in the ai community but also be a generally fun to watch show with reasonable character tropes I think it ended up pretty entertaining, has a "social network"-esque vibe with lots of ai references, so hope you enjoy :)
